My bantams that lay, are only counted as half a chicken due to the size.

This means I only own 2 silkies & 2 LF

You do know any eggs not hatched do not count at all - and chicks do not count either ........ well, I don't count mine until they start laying

Once they start counting and seeing new birds, then you may have to teach him to count chickens right.

New ones that are fully grown never count until after quarantine & then only if laying.

When I want to add more birds, I just remind him how good it has been for me
