A nice super dark brown egg. I try to breed only for those dark layers. I would share a photo but I sold out of eggs yesterday and hers was certainly big enough to go in the cartons even though she is a new laying pullet. Makes me feel good when my breeding program gives me what I work hard to produce.

I have an awsome dog also...he will eat my chickens first chance but he is why nothing else gets a chance...he is an old man though(over 12) so we are thinking of a pup to raise with him but also with the chickens so maybe we will get a dog like him but not a chicken eater! LOL

I did not eat turkey either, I have always hated turkey, until I ate one of ours.
