If I ever get down your way I would love to take a lavender roo off your hands. My Sizzle pen could use other colors. I am not big on breeding Silkies though I love my 2 small pens but I do love Sizzles and Frizzles in all those amazing colors.

I have two nice lavender cockerals. Good combs, five toes... all that. I just don't need them.

Kimberly I have several blue / black that I hatched from Mary Robbins. I will not be keeping them.
I will let you know when they get a little older. There may be some good ones in that group.

I have a brooder in the basement that Nicole & I built last spring. DH just does not want me having to clean it until we find a better way to do it...DD & I did not think of that when we were building it....you basically have to take it apart to clean it...and it is a real pain .... DH needs to work on that for me lol

I will be glad to have any cast off. I just want to add some color to that Sizzle pen and I figure lavender will help with some of my Sizzle girls. In a few generations I may be able to get some decent Sizzle lavender kids to pretty up someone's back yard. Namely mine!

Looks like mine kinda. I have a 12 hole and the girls love it except for my Jersey Giants. Their big butts can't get in there so they lay on the floor under the coop or get in ones I made that are bigger and are underneath.
That is a very good price if it is in good condition.
I love mine. They are metal so I can hose mine down in the summer and give a quick once over and the plastic bottom comes out of them so those are super easy to wash up. I only do it once a year....not that you can really tell. But I feel better cleaning it once a year anyhow.

Tim Dover and Susan Gardner are teaching this class. Both are excellent beekeepers.
Probably would be one of my first choices if I were taking a class.

Almost all of the bee clubs around are offering classes in the next few weeks. I am teaching at one in Spartanburg Saturday morning. I will also be teaching a session at one in Pickens Feb. 11. The upstate is well blessed with opportunities for new beekeepers. Most of the classes fill up fast so if anyone is interested, sign up ASAP.
