I forgot to say that I have 6 turkey eggs in the bator. I could not believe how big they are!!!

Someone had them on a website for sale so I figured... why not? They are bourbon reds.

Awww...I am so sad for you and for Max! I rushed home and read thru fast trying to find out and praying he would pull thru and they would be able to find a way to aleviate the seizures from re-occurring...I am soo sorry!

Well, I have been out of the loop for a few days! We closed on our construction loan on Friday and had to run around picking out appliances, carpet... all the good stuff. That's the one thing with a modular home. You have to do it all ahead of time and then hope you like it! The house should be here by the end of March and we should be able to move in mid-May. I can't believe it's actually happening!

My chickens are starting to lay again! I have five eggs in the Ameraucana coop today! About time some of these girls earn their keep!

Hope everyone is doing well. Looks like the end of the week is going to be nice. We had planned to go to Newnan but I think we're just going to stay home. My kids have a four-day weekend and it's my husband's birthday. I just want a nice quiet weekend.

I hope everyone going has a blast!

Well I lost one young frizzle cochin roo.

And he was in a very protected house so I was surprised to find him dead. The water wasn't frozen in there.

Oh no not a frizzle! So sorry. I have been very lucky here with my makeshift little coops. I have one decent one but the others are basically framed wire but I did cover everything pretty good with clear plastic. That has been rough when it has been so warm for the most of the time! Somehow they are surviving me learning! LOL

I swear you are just a youngster. You act so wonderfully young(er). You aren't old, per say, just a few years older than I realized. DH and DD were amazed, too. They thought for sure you were early 30's.
Good, clean living must help you stay young.
