I didn't get to go to the chicken show today but I DID get to chicken shop! AND meet another BYC friend in person, also know as an "enabler".

I got to meet Lisa (Pokey) and see her beautiful birds and bring home some sweet chicks and hatching eggs. I'm so excited! I am a true addict, in every sense of the word. Bought something that I didn't intend to, hadn't even considered it, but there they were and I couldn't help myself.

I brought home 2 boxes but had already put the tiny babies in a brooder before I thought to take a picture. Here are my Yokohama chicks:

Whew! What an awesome day! I so loved going with my good buds, Kimberly and Jackie! I really enjoyed talking with Mary, Samantha and Nikki! And I enjoyed meeting Walt and some others for the first time. I am sorry, Walt, that I did not get a photo with you. Too much going on to get it all done!



Above are my sweet friends, Mary, Jackie and Kimberly! I'm the one with the goofy look. I was drunk on too much fun!

Kimberly is the chunky one that just took the chicken off her head after posing as Marilyn Monroe.
