I prefer Android, but mostly because I don't like Apple Company. BYC works great on my android phone though. I have not tried uploading photos from it though.

Interesting because I have a choice to make soon in upgrading my Blackberry (OK CRACKBERRY!!! because it blocks me from BYC) so I still am not sure whether to go with an Android or an iPhone...looking for all input I can get!!! I sure would love to be able to do FB and BYC and surf the net...which would be better for me?

I have a question about raising chicks...I have chicks in varying ages but the older and middle ones are wasting a LOT of chick crumble feed...I really need to get a grip on this...I have 10-12 week olds and 4-6 week olds all still on chick starter crumbles...they flick/scratch/waste so much! I have tried different feeder containers but even the 2-4 week olds inside in bins waste a lot of food...question is...at what age do you change them from chick starter crumbles?...and what do you graduate them to? and what do you find to be the best feeder for the older chicks but also to minimize the waste? or...any other suggestions? I even have drawers/pans to catch some waste and sift and re-feed (YUCK!!! I just don't think that is healthy but when 16 chicks go thru 30 lbs in one week ya gotta do something!!!)

I have taken our round chick feeder (the red one) took off the bottom, then taken the top side with the holes and on the underside extended the rim (below the jar) down. I Added about a half inch of hot glue. it keeps less feed in the base and they scrape out MUCH less food.

I must share my opinion here as I was tortured for 2 years with an Android phone. I HATED it. It would have been terrific if it did everything it was supposed to, but it didn't work well. I would have dropped calls, it would shut down while I was on the web. If I tried to make a call it would stall and I even had many times that I was in the middle of a call and my voice mail would kick in and I would lose the call. I will tell you how things ended with that phone, I got so fed up that I threw the stupid phone across the room and into the wall finally killing it (and keep in mind I was on phone #3 because they kept replacing it). I went in the day that Apple iphone4 came out and bought one, I am converted. This phone is AWESOME! It does everything it is supposed to and it's FAST. I love it, my son even loves it and he wants one now (and he was a diehard Android person). There's no going back to Android for me. I'd be lost without my iphone. I keep my grocery list on there, I check my email, post on BYC, check my ebay auctions and Paypal account, even check my own website. It is COOL! And I should also say that I haven't had any issues with the new BYC changes at all, not on my laptop or my phone. I really don't know why there are so many people having trouble. We have highspeed DSL, maybe that has something to do with it?

I, too, use the iPhone, and often my iPad, to check into BYC and most every other website. Since getting the iPad last year, I only use my laptop about a fourth of the time now. The very first day BYC was up in the new format, it was a slight bit slower. After that, it has been fine.
I have heard good things about Android phones, too, but in our family, we are Apple fans and I was the last to join in. I am glad I did.

I have an iPhone and use it constantly. No complaints with it other than not being able to post pics on BYC!!! For me it's a BIG problem, seeing as I am a picture taking fool. I think there are like 4,000+ pics on my phone and I can't share a one with you guys w/o syncing my phone to my laptop. Which is currently out of commission due to a frayed cord. :( Hinse, is why I'm on FB more than BYC.....if I can post pics to fb via my "smart phone," then why can't I post pics on BYC?!?!?!
Looks like its gonna b a beautiful day :) u guys enjoy the nice weather while I'm at work ;)

I would love to try an Iphone but Alltel doesn't offer one....I have a Motorolla Droid that I have had 2 years...been in water at lake and beach...no problems but my DH has a HTC Droid and it is always trouble!!! I love my Ipod but bought the kids tablets( really nice ones, not cheapos) because some of thier friends had trouble transferring school work with the whole apple/windows thing. I am not good enough with puters to figure out that mess! LOL But I have had no problems with the new BYC either...I have never tried to post pics to BYC from my phone but I do everything else with it,bill pay, internet, ebay, etc too!! Now I am curious and I am gonna have to try...Mom is lucky to have a choice!!
