South Carolina

I was there in the blue truck, white trailer with the bantams and showgirls. Thank you for welcoming me. The dog van was awesome. I pointed that out to Harold when we first pulled up. I love my silkies and showgirls. I have guineas, silkies, showgirls, bantams and some buffs. There is not a one I don't absolutely love. I think I did talk with you. Were the the 1 that had the chicken for the show and that was all?

Hi there Buster, I was at the TSC Chicken Swap last weekend and I got 2 silkie mix babies from you. Thank you so much for the new precious babies. They are doing so great and growing like little weeds. I am so happy I was able to get these babies from you. I had been wanting a silkie since we started raising chickens. I think they are just so precious. Thank you again and it was so nice meeting you.

Does anyone on here have olive eggers? I would like to get some hatching eggs or chicks. I have some in the incuabtor but they were shipped and my odds aren't looking good. Day 21 was yesterday at 6 pm and so far no activity. I guess that's a risk you take with shipped eggs huh? I haven't been able to candle them either bc they're too dark to see through. I'm not giving up hope yet but would like to line up someone that has them just in case. My goal this summer is to add more color to my cartons!

If you are asking about mealworms you must have found Amy!!! LOL she is the mealworm queen!! And my personal chicken mentor whether she likes it or not!!

I have Olive Eggers in with my blue wheaten Ameraucanas because they are wheaten, too.
I also have a gold Cuckoo Marans hen in with my blue Ameraucana roo. Chicks have mostly been blue, clean legged. I have some Olive Egger daughters from her by a different Ameraucana roo.
If you are coming to NC this weekend I will have eggs available.

I said I wasn't going to take much this Sat. but I am finding some bantam Cochin pullets that will not be staying. I have way more girls than boys this time around. Amazing.
And since it is so warm again, I may bring BLRW chicks and some EE chicks. St run.

I go through my pens and see lots I can sell but all my cages are taken up with baby birds so I have no idea what all I can bring. I am borrowing a camper cover from my neighbor so my emblem on the back window will be covered up. Not sure what to do to show it is my truck. May just make a poster board sign.

Are you going to chickenstock in Lincolnton this sat??? I will have some sumatra eggs you may be wanting from Dixies big black roo yall liked so much!!

We wanted to go to Chickenstock but found out we needed a green card to sale there so we decided against it. Oh well we'll definitely be going next year for sure. We had so much fun at the TSC chicken swap we're looking to do it again sometime.

FYI, I think there is a chicken swap at TSC in ANderson, you may want to call down there to verify. If thre is, maybe you can take your guys there.

I will say the Chicken Swap in Lincolnton is a great one to go too.

I wasn't going to post this here but a lil birdie told me someone may be looking but wasn't sure...My DH built a chicken tractor today to sell. It is 4 ft wide,8 ft long, and 3 ft tall. It has a built in roost and nest box that allows you to collect eggs from outside! He is asking $150!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone Sat...I forgot to get my card but I am hoping I pull it off tomorrow! My understanding is I can fax my app in and we can work it all out! Even so I do have a good bit of presales!

If you still have, I would like to give it a try. I am located in Ware S goals. Just let me know please. Thanking you in advance,

Hey Amy is getting one of the MFduccles roos BUT..I have MF d'Uccles in the bator(not sure if they will hatch but WE'LL see!! So soon I may or may not have babies! You should research these little babies they are the sweetest chickens. Mille Fleur d'Uccles even the roos if raised from an egg can be little sweethearts.

what kind of babies are you getting rid of? I don't know the names of all the chickens but am trying. Thanks

Buster123- I have lots of mixed chickens for sale hahaha I mean FREE to a good home.(the person I was gonna give too I think is backing out.) I have boys and girls and the coop they are in is way to small for these chicks. I have to let them free range with the big chickens just so they have space. The Dad is Blue Jersey Gaint(BlueJG) and the moms are Buff Orp(BO), Barred Rock(BR), Easter Egger(EE) and a Black Jersey Giant(BlkJG). I have boys and girls. And one Beautiful BlueEEroo(baby) and a sweet brown mix roo. Any who I've posted lots of pics of the babies, but can post more if looking to add to your flock. These babies are already spoiled and sweet and all about 8weeks old.

Amy: I have been trying to decide if I'm coming to NC or not. I became and aunt this week for the very first time. I guess it all depends on when/if we get to go see our niece this weekend. I really really want to come...so we shall see! But if I do come I would like to get some olive eggs for sure. Since obviously NONE of mine in the bator are gonna hatch. It's now a few hrs into day 22...I'll leave them in there til Fri or Sat just in case. Oh well! That's the risks of shipped eggs I guess!
