Hi there Buster, I was at the TSC Chicken Swap last weekend and I got 2 silkie mix babies from you. Thank you so much for the new precious babies. They are doing so great and growing like little weeds. I am so happy I was able to get these babies from you. I had been wanting a silkie since we started raising chickens. I think they are just so precious. Thank you again and it was so nice meeting you.

it is always good to know you are satisfied. I could tell you would take good care of them. Thank you again for the purchase. I know have a few mixed showgirls I am going to sell if anybody you know is interested. They are to cute too. Thanks for letting me know you like your babies.

Bear with me! I am trying to catch up.

Only a few days til Chickenstock! I get to see a lot of you all then!
cool but do want to talk to you about some mealworms!

I don't like the ones that are manufactued with holes, and I try to get rid of the ones that I end up adding holes to later. (Leg holes are OK though).

someone said you have silkies. I am in Ware Shoals and would love to look at what you have. Do you have the showgirls too? I have them and white silkies but am finding I need more. Would you consider letting me come see what you have?

Thought I'd let y'all know that papaschickens is my wonderful DH, George. I persuaded him to sign-up and get his own account after we attended the chicken swap at TSC on Saturday. Now he too can feel a part of the chicken crowd instead of just listening to me gab on about this place :D..

I would welcome any opportunity to meet my chicken folks!

Greeting Ware Shoals. I'm in Buffalo myself. We ended up with Brian from your drag racing strip here in Union County, We are mighty glad to have him. Glad to see you also. Half of my kin folks are in Anderson. so I'm going to call you a neibour.

Hey I am in Ware Shoals and my name is Lyn. We are pretty close. I agree with you, would like to talk to chicken folks near me too.

My eggs are Rhode Island Red / Barred Rock sexlinked crosses (I call them an upside cross because I'm using the RIR hens and the BR cocks. my chickens are pure breeds ). IF you want to try your hand at hatching them. your welcome to them. I'm still looking for a nice RIR rooster to stumble across.
Let me know and I'll be glad to let you have what you want of them.

are you close to Ware Shoals? would like to try the eggs! pm me please.

Well we had a rather startling surprise awaiting us at the coop yesterday. DH walked out to check on the chickens and found a 5 foot snake skin sitting beside our coop. This really concerns me for 2 reasons: 1 being that there is at least a 5 foot snake running around my yard (Ick.. I really dislike snakes) and 2: I'm worried about my chickens safety. The hens are not laying as of yet (too young) but I would hate to think that snake would be able to get ahold of one of my chickens. Has anybody else had this problem? What can I do to keep that sneaky snake out of my coop and away from my chickens? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
