Oh WOW...that picture of Emmet is great! I love your coop and the pic of Emmet watching his girls is so adorable!!! You have a fine trio there!!! Emmet looks so proud of himself strutting by that rock! LOL

I posted this in another thread as well... But I am so very excited! Found a farm nearby in Camden that has some Rocks hatching! I sure hope to get my pullets soon! I am obsessing over my email waiting to hear from him. Yippee!
Any advice for transporting the cuties home? 30 minute drive... I am STALKING my email hoping to hear from him soon. Whee! Happy!

Lauren, that is cuteness overload. So what color D'anvers are you wanting?

Yancy, love your D'uccle, he is a good looking rooster, and I really like your pens too.
Congrats to Lauren again...you deserve a good run of chicken luck...and Kris...soooo happy you finally got those elusive D'Anvers!!

To be honest...ALL of the colors LOL...but I'm on the waiting list for lavender cuckoo, mille fleur, black mottled, goldneck, and white. I waited a little late to get on the list ( a few weeks ago) so it'll prob be a while before I can get my eggs. I'm just in love with those cute little beards :) I think I want to try to focus on d'Anvers and call ducks next year. I'm considering adding one more color of calls but don't tell DH...We just started building the duck coop and I'm sure he wont wanna build another!

I'll let you know! I'm going to wait and see what these 3 turn out to be..and I hope to be able to hatch at least a few more this breeding season. I hope to have a pair or 2 that I'd sell later on. Mine came from the Foleys in KY. They have awesome whites. My pair was considered "breeder quality" but as he told me...eventually I'd get some show quality ducks out of them since they come from that line. It kinda stinks that I only ended up with 3 babies after starting with 10 eggs..but that's ok! I'll take it! I was scared I wasn't going to get any this year the way things have been going!

Thought I would try posting this here too, I am searching for an old chicken tractor, I'm really just looking for a frame. I have wire and roofing but I can't make a frame strong and steady to save my life :idunno.
I don't have much money and would be willing to work out some kinda trade, and if possible maybe give gas $ to deliever if you aren't to far away. :)
