South Carolina

Maranda accepted the Orps we got from Southern Bee Lady and everyone is playing nicely. They are in their new sectioned off run and she takes them into the dog crate at night. I will run by at lunch tomorrow, I think, to check on them.

Cool. I just live off the corner of Rockwood and Hwy 72 across the street from the old BiLo.

Well today is my hatch day(18 eggs) and I have NOTHING going on. No rocking, no peeping and no pipping. I hate having to be patient!!! I guess time will tell ....

Welcome!!! We too are in Gray Court, Robert, my other half often posts on my user name, you know it is him as he always signs his name at the end of the post.

Please tell us about you and your family of chickens.

So I posted and then saw 3 duplicates, and now the post is gone. hmm well will try again.'

This weekend, our wonderful broddy wyandotte, hatched 8 coral blue guineas, she has 5 more eggs under her to hatch, not sure if they will or not. We also have a turkey hen on 5 guinea eggs, I think they have hatched but doubt she will let us move her to see them, Guess we have to wait till she takes them out of the nest.

We also have another broody wyandotte on guinea eggs, darn wyandottes broodiness. Then we actually have a guinea hen on a HUGE nest of guinea eggs, if all of these hatch, we will be over run with guineas. Anyone need some coral blue guinea keets
