Will anyone have a D'anver Quail roo they no longer need? I have one pullet that is so lonely (as lonely as you can get in a brooder pen with 30 others, but still......)

I may be able to barter with some of the chicks I am bringing for help with IDing, too.

yes sue ill be there and ill prolly be right behind joey lol..... (gotta get dibs on that coffee lol)

ill be bringing a few birds to rehome and some i already spoke with about rehoming lol and ill bring one or to just to show off for fun LOL ...... ill let gabby wonder around he likes people lol

is anyone bringing eggs for consumption or incubating if so how much? id like to get some of both

I do not have any d'anver but I have been interested in raising some Mille Fleur D'anver. If you eve want to place an order from a breeder on the TN/GA border let me know. The BYC link is actively discussing the breed and Aubry of Boggy Bottom Bantams raises many different colors. This is one breed that I would like to order from a very good breeder but would like to split an order.

By the Way what breed chicks are your bringing ? And I do not know of any d'anver breeder in So CA.

I got the 25 pullets deal for $50 through My Pet Chicken so I have no idea what half of them are...I was hoping that you all could help ID them for me?? I am pretty sure there are barred rocks (but they have grey legs???) and maybe some reds, but there are lots of little ones with feathered legs. I've never been a bantam lover outside of the D'anver's and silkies so I have no idea what they may be.

I got my lone little D'anver from them, too. I ordered 5 and she was the only one that made it. I was refunded to other 4 because they died within 48 hours of receiving them. I had 12 or 15 total in the shipment and it was just that breed that passed. I absolutely adore the D'anver....they are very much like quail in how docile they are and they are little love bugs. Since I raise mostly for eggs and meet, these little ones I get here and there are more for indulgence than anything else.

Until I get serious into creating a giant silkie, I'm fine with my mutts and mixes.

one time at this local feed store in los angeles had a huge silky roo... he was the standard size and perfect... other than the red comb and wattles, i thought that was how he was supposed to be... he was white too... he wasn't bearded, so i didn't end up getting him... now i regret it... he would've been a great foundation for creating std silkies...

anyways... i want EE, or any kind of good layer... i'll even take eggs, i'm gonna incubate after the meet anyways...

Hey Gumbii, you want a white silkie roo, I can get one of those for ya........
