We're not shipping them or anything, they may have up to an hour ride home in the car, depending on how far we drive. I have some small doggie crates that I'll bring, and I'll be bringing my babies in an XL guinea pig cage!!
 
my feedstore sells chickens in feed/grain bags... the chickens just lay in there and go to sleep... i might take some for the chickens i take home, but i think i have some extra boxes in my room somewhere... i have bantams so they fit in a large shoe box... LOL...

Ok So I am not 100% sure that I'll be able to go, as I'll be working till 9:30 in the morning but I'll see if I can take that day oof, but if I go I would like to donate for a raffle 2 1 Gallon waterers, 2 18" galvinized feeders, 1 brooder lamp, and 1 250 watt light bulb, maybe those things could be used for a raffle , I haven't read all the details of how the raffle is gonna work but i'll go back and read all the post see what I missed.
Btw Im looking for some Polish hens, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, or anything that has the Silverlaced plumage, and a Maran Rooster and a couple of pullets if anybody will be bringing some of this breeds please let meknow thanks.
 
well... yesterday i went to what i think was LAPC's (Los Angeles Pigeon Club) meeting... in the park's parking lot, they take up like two rows of parkings, park their cars and take out all kinds of cages to sell/trade/buy... they had all kinds of gorgeous pigeons... flyers, fancies, and other exotics... they also had some chickens, doves, finches and other birds... after the swapmeet thingy, they all go inside to have some speakers... after that, they raffle bags of feed, cages and other great stuff... i didn't stay for the raffle, but i was told they are awesome...

anyways... i hope this meetup turns into that monthly meetup... it's a monthly kind of deal... second thursday of the month... every month...

also... they had way over a hundred people... and i'm sure they don't have a permit for it... it seems that anyone can go... only like 3 people were from LAPC... LOL... everyone else just goes to buy and sell...


btw, i got a pair of gorgeous figuritas pigeons and two white ring orange doves...
