Well I need the eggs because my muscovie duck went broody. but i heard that if you have NEWLY hatched chicks you can put them under her and she will think hers hatched.

I have some due on the 15th. But only 3 or 4. I can't even remember why I set so few. LOL. I have new new incubator so I'm hoping they hatch! I'm nervous.

What kind of incubator? I might just get the dozen eggs. How much for the ducklings if they hatch?

It's a Dickey's Incubator. I'm just worried about the humidity at hatch. I might just switch them over to the Hovabator. I usually sell the duckling for $8 each

How long have you had ducks?

I got the original ducks from Holderreads in May of last year. They're from their top show quality stock.

This is my first time with ducks, I had my trio of Muscovies for about a month in a half. Will the Runners do well with them?

My mom didn't let me, until me and Sabrina (shuizar) Convinced her that some ducks DO lay like chickens

ducks lay eggs like chickens..? like a lot of eggs year round...? i didn't know that...

but she's scared of ducks, and i don't have a lot of room for any to give them like swimming room and stuffs...

Runners are an egg laying breed. They lay like crazy. Mine also like to hide the eggs, so I stopped letting the free range all day and have them penned most of the day.

Yup my muscovie laid an egg EVERY DAY FOR A MONTH! until the day she went broody. lol. Depending on how many ducks you get, you can use a hard plastic baby swimming pool.
