Well 3 of the little fellas didn't make it through the night. 2 looked like they were near death when I got them home and was almost positive they weren't gonna make it. The third was a surprise death. But the good news is I still have 9 that are eating and drinking and appear to be doing just fine. Keep your fingers crossed.

What kind of brooder set up do you have?

Right now it's just a large cardboard box in my bedroom with a red heat lamp, a remote temp/humidity sensor, made for chicks feeder and water font, my stuffed chicken from my profile pic (MPC told me to put a stuff animal in cause I have so few chicks) I have a plastic chick coral that I bought from a poultry catalog that I will use when they get bigger.

I'm sorry, I know how much it sux to lose them now.

I have the same one got it from amazon. I love it. You can add 3 remote units to it. I'm gonna put it out in the coop when they are bigger.
I do the same thing check their temp right from bed lol.
Its not too expensive either like $25 I think for main unit and one remote sensor. Extra sensors are like $12.
