That's cool! I feel bad for the neighbor's bird, he never comes outside.

i got a cockatiel a few weeks ago and he comes outside with me sometimes, he is great! i don't like generalizing about bird keepers, we don't all coop up our animals!

Today's progress. We got finished just before the rain started. (I say "we" in the broadest sense. I can't even lift a coffee cup, let alone a hammer. I did put together the new composter, which required no tools. Tried to sweep a little. Big mistake!)

Me too! I'm so anxious to get it done, and it feels like the more we do, the more there is to do. But we want to do it right. We're going to insulate the whole thing and enclose the walls. That's gonna add some time to the project.

Before you finish the walls, run an electrical outlet to it, up high so it's not near them.
In the winter, we just run an extension cord outside, so we can plug whatever they need.
Fan in summer, too.
