So I'm mapquesting the mileage to Sussex and my wife says, "what day is it on?" of course, you know it has to be the same day as our son's fiancé's wedding shower.
The thing is that it was on.y 75 miles or so away and it would have taken under 2 hours to get there. Maybe the next one we'll make.
Men don't go. It's just that I was going to go to Sussex with her, if we were both able. She would probably get a little steamed if I went there with a bunch of chicken ladies all by myself. LOL.Quote:
I thought men weren't allowed to go to those things. You would have a much better time with a bunch of chicken women. I'm trying to see if i can go.
Any other shows in the tri-state area coming up? I will surely get to one of them.Quote:
Well, Sussex has another show in the fall. I think it's October.....
Yes, yes, let's all go! I have had this on my calendar for months now, thanks to Christine. Let's all go and wear one of Donna's t-shirts so we can meet up.
They are still in that very cute stage. Wish they could stay that small. Suzanne, Bobby is amazing. Right on top of it. My wife said that your gutter looked like ours did when the tornado hit our house. We have the same attached garage on the same side of the house. He already fixed it. It was done when I got home from work. Replaced the 1x2s and flashing. Took down the gutter, which I think we're going to live without. The downspout was directing the water into a corner of the garden. Now the water will just run down into the driveway, which is fine.
Here's Blanche, 10 days old. She still has that orange ink from the hatchery.
And Mabel, with her speckled feathers coming in.
And the lovely Lola, the roundest chick I've ever seen.
Oh no!The only casuality to the storm was my garden. All my seedlings were washed away.![]()
Yeah, but does she know how nuts we all are?Men don't go. It's just that I was going to go to Sussex with her, if we were both able. She would probably get a little steamed if I went there with a bunch of chicken ladies all by myself. LOL.Quote:
