Is there some way to mark which chick comes out of which egg?
I heard someplace you can poke a pin hole in the shell and put food dye in ?
Afraid I'd kill the embryo.

I want to keep a female from one of the darker eggs.

I suppose if I watch carefully when they hatch I can dab food color on their head
Will the chicks from the darker blue eggs have more of
A chance of laying similar color eggs than the ones from
The white-ish eggs?

Or is there no way to tell until they lay?
I can't keep them all that long

I know a few people that make holding baskets out of strawberry containers, or that mesh that you do cross stitching on.
A little jail so they won't get mixed up in the hatcher.

The smallest bracelet I have is 7". It looks like if I try to shorten it, I'll make a mess.
They don't look like they were made to be sized.
Will look at my suppliers tonite.

I can't find any info on shortening, BUT, I have a necklace chain that looks like something can be done to it.
As long as I don't destroy the teeny little fitting on the end.
If I do, it was cheap, it's only silver plated, cost me less than $10.00
Let me know what size to make it to, will try it.
And don't feel obligated, I need to learn this stuff, you won't be the only person that needs smaller.

I was thinking of getting her one of those light pink braided leather ones with the silver screw together clasp. Its very girly looking and I think its would look nice even if it doesn't have more then a few charms on it. I came up with this Idea this morning so I haven't really checked into it yet. She's a tiny little thing she's 7 and I don't want to ask my sister since I sure I should be giving her a saving bond but what fun is that.Thank you very much though. I don't want you to ruin your chain

We are in Fishkill (not Poughkeepsie, as I previously reported). I remembered the wrong city and the wrong hotel. Thought it was Poughkeepsie Marriott, but it was the Fishkill Hilton. So now we're in the Fishkill Mariott. Six of one, I guess. Got the restaurant right, though. Hudson's Ribs and Fish. Looks casual, but really outstanding food.

We're a very 21st century couple. I'm streaming netflix on my laptop and he's doing the same (different show) on his ipad. It's almost like being together! But we had lots of fun antiquing in Cold Spring and I'm looking forward to Stormville tomorrow. I brought along a new crochet project, which is coming along great. Just something small to keep me busy.

We've talked through a lot of the emotional stuff that I think is causing my anxiety. I feel like if I get it talked out, I can put it behind me. It was great to take our time coming up and discuss all my future plans for earning a living. Scary, but in a way exciting. It will be nice to be able to do what I'm good at without getting bogged down with a bunch of bureaucracy.

Oh yeah, and I'm bidding on White Orpington and Light Sussex hatching eggs. Somehow, that didn't come up in the conversation today....
