Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Suzanne, I was taking the sudafed until this morning. I think the pressure over my eye is what is affecting my vision. Yeah, it is scary but it comes and goes, so I think it should be alright. If not, tomorrow I will be in the ER.

I'll edit the first page to add your name. Thanks.

We are getting quite a few friends on this thread and it is not easy to keep track of everyone's first name. So, we are adding this list of BYC nicknames (for those who want to be added) with first names next to them;

Al,
try a "Netty pot". Bought them last year from dh & son and they swear by them for clearing up sinus problems due to allergies and infections. Really cheap and instant relief.

People swear by the Neti Pot (sp?). When I get bad sinus, I lie on my back on the bed with my head hanging back and pour saline nasal spray into my nostrils until it reaches all the way into my sinuses. Yeah, I know, it sounds like some top-secret CIA torture method - and it does produce one wicked headache - but after lying there for a couple of minutes and then sitting up (with an ice pack) my sinuses drain all the way down. Certainly by the next morning I'm all better. I had laryngitis 3 times a year from sinus infections (seasonal allergies) but since I've started keeping my sinuses flushed, no problem.

I was very disappointed about the Gladys thing, but not so surprised. I don't know whether to be mad at her or impressed by her tenacity!
