I made pickles for the first time yesterday. Other than scalding myself with some boiling water, it went pretty well. My farmstand friend gave me the kirbys I used. Pickling starts at 7:30 after the old man and the oldest 3 leave. After that I'm figuring on pulling more stuff from the attic, to get rid of, and switch into drawers. How did my house become so cluttered and disorganized? (Couldn't have been my chicken addiction? No. Just because I can sit out there for hours and hang out with poultry means nothing.)
