Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Irene, the next show will be Sussex County, NJ
I *think* it's April?
Have fun!

Last I heard it was going to be May 18.

You know I'll be there. I'm going to try and go downstate too and take pictures of my grandfather's home town, what's left of the farm, any other genealogy stuff, etc before the big trek west. If I haven't worked out where my hens are going by then I'll bring them and give them to you guys.

Have an absolutely awesome time this weekend! Take lots of pictures! Sell out your inventories!

Congrats! Got my Zippered Hoodie and T-Shirt. Love the quality. They are so soft and comfortable. I think that I just might be heading back for some more!

I love these. I just ordered 3 more shirts since I can't make the show this weekend.

Just wanted to say a quick hi. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm in New Haven County, CT. Currently have 1 red star, 1 BO, 2 black copper maran/ameraucana mix (pullet and cockerel brother and sister), and 1 white leghorn cockerel. Looking to add blue and white egg layers to my flock. Anyone here been to the poultry congress before? Looking to head up there (West Springfield, MA) this weekend and didn't know if I should bring a box/egg carton etc in case they may have some hatching eggs or chicks I'm interested in.

Harborview Hens let me know about this thread...thanks Mom.)

Eggs usually always come in the cartons.
It's better to bring your own box, but sometimes the breeder will have boxes.
I have a few in my car.

Hope to see you there!

Boxed up all 50 chicks (crocheted, that is) and all the marketing stuff, etc. etc.

Heading out to clean the coop so Bobby doesn't have to deal with knee deep poop by the time I get home. And I have to do the chicken round-up with Helen so I can hopefully sell her at the show. She thinks she's a rooster this morning. I swear she's trying to crow!

I'm really excited for this weekend. Including this afternoon at my sister's house. My sister-in-law commissioned me for a crochet project and I don't have the right color yarn (if you can believe that), so I have an excuse to go to Michael's. Can't wait to tell my niece (who just learned to crochet and is having a birthday next month) that we may have to make a trip to Yarn Mecca. This is why my sister hates me...

Robert,
Welcome to the thread! We have a nice group of helpful and supportive folks on here.
Regards,
Tina

I am very disappointed to say that I can't make it to the show as planned, due to circumstances beyond my control. Lindsey and I have looked forward to this for weeks. There is a very slight chance that we may be able to come tomorrow for a few hours, but that is not likely. I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to a name tag.
