Congratulations! (I'm a little jealous.)

Congratulations...
With my sons girlfriend starting her residence in 2 months , I won't even have a daughter in law anytime soon.i want a grand baby but I'd settle for a puppy. Between climbing over fences to get to the girls and shoveling , I feel like I slept on a bag of rocks.I need a day at the spa.
There is a fine layer of ice coating everything here, so be careful if you are going out.
Richard doesn't want me going to PT this morning 'cause of the roads. He forgets that we lived in Ithaca for many many winters.
Well off to take care of the 5 blizzard babies.
Be safe.

5 alive...sounds like a news channel. I think I scared the orange NN cause she jumped up and started running around and now she is limping. She needs to be called Grace.

Ahhh..last son just left and it's a me day. Quiet house and lots of laundry to catch up with.

You'll never forget these Carol babies that's for sure!

Time to browse the hatchery sites for all those good chickie specials i can't order.LOL

It's nasty here. icey/sleet/rain and dark skies. sigh..........go away snow.

Mags how did you survive 6 men in your house. While Adam was growing up it was hell with 2 against 1. Although now that he's 25 he always has my back. It drives my husband nuts that the tables have turned. We are such great pals.

I just bought my girls all kind of valentine treats. Has anyone ever added sea kelp to their feed as a supplement? I also just bought a case of chick cakes. I got one at the NE conference for the 2 little silkies and they love it. I really should get some work done.

Today is sort of a me day. Laura's home sick with the flu, but Bobby went to work. I'm trying to finish a baby blanket I'm making on order. Then I want to do some hats and another poncho.

Maggie, I found a sweet baby hat. I'll send you a picture.

Roads here are treacherous, but not impossible. I took Laura to the doctor at 8:30 this morning. She's all tucked in bed now with hot tea. I've got jello chilling and homemade chicken soup in the refrig. Gonna whip up some pineapple sorbet to soothe her throat. Clara's been out, but the girls are hiding in the coop. Just as well. It's nasty out there!

I think you mean "Harbour View Hens?". I have 3 sons and 6 might have taken me over the edge!LOL
Although I have to admit we all get on really well and they tend to spoil me as they have grown up. I don't know how I'd do with them all gone from the house and me loving alone with a retired restless can't stop kinda husband.....hmmmmmm that sounds SCAREY!!!!!

Looking forward to it Suzanne!

My guys are all better now. How I dodged that flue bullet and intestinal virus cleaning after up behind everyone here for a week is beyond me. I just kept a spray can of lysol in my pocket.

Yay for chicks, me days and engagements!

Quiet day around here. Need to add on to a temporary cardboard brooder, plus I'm in the middle of a Brabanter hatch.. one is out and 5 others are working on it.

Trying to get photos but all I get is glare from the brinsea. Really need this separate hatcher to arrive. It's annoying to hatch in the brinseas though they do incubate beautifully. Will be great to have a designated hatcher that I won't be tempted to incubate in!
