Yes but is at least one of them sufficiently "wow" enough to make your cousin jealous?

Keep them all, you deserve it. <3

It's funny, but she's the first person I told (after Laura). She was badgering me about how it was silly for us not to get married, just yelling at me about it, when I stopped trying to answer her, waited for her to stop talking and then said "We are getting married." I thought she was going to fall off the chair!

I decided to wear the off-white dress and save the other one for my sister's wedding in June. I also have a wedding to go to in May, so I may wear the floral one then too. I'm toying with not even accepting delivery of the third so as not to be tempted...

My friend Nancy, a florist, has graciously decided to make a small hand-tied bouquet for me as a wedding gift. It's going to be beautiful.

Laura and Mike WILL be there, so I will have an official photographer!! We found a Justice of the Peace who is terrific and we've already designed the service with her. And the Inn is only charging a small site fee because my sister and her husband are steady guests.

All I can say is the people who inhabit my world are WONDERFUL!!!

I watched "Duck Dynasty" for the first time tonight. Apparently being a multimillionaire redneck still doesn't entitle you to have Barred Rock hens if your HOA says no. Funny show. I liked it more than I thought I would.

I found a dog a few blocks away from my house and brought it home so it wouldn't get hit or taken or anything. Collar, no tags.

I'm dog-sitting my cousin's dog, so my house is already crazy and there are chickens in the backyard, so I called animal control to come pick up the dog, knowing the owners would check with them to see if she had been brought in. Sure enough, 5 minutes (literally) after the dog was picked up, Mike's mom found the owner (it was on her block that I found the dog) and now I'm getting the distinct feeling everyone thinks I did the wrong thing by sending her to the shelter.

Once again, no good deed goes unpunished. Next time, I'll keep the dog 24 hours to see if the owner turns up. Because it wasn't too crazy having 2 strange dogs in my house today!

Jeez. You're welcome...

Oh Suzanne you're pretty wonderful yourself! :)

Re Duck Dynasty, we like it as its one of the few shows all of us from age 4 - 44 can enjoy together. I saw a glimpse of them chasing the chicken but didn't know what that was about. I'm glad they weren't eating it.

I once rescued a dog from the side of the Bronx river parkway. When the owners came to get it, they never said thank you. They were just annoyed. No wonder he ran away....

Saw an article on Douglas Kennedy's coop burning down in Chappaqua. One guess why - space heater. Dumass. This is the guy that punched a nurse for trying to stop him from taking his baby out of the hospital when the monitor bracelet was still on. Gosh I love stupid rich people.

Kinda awesome feeling, wasn't it?

I can't believe it's snowing! Argh!

ON the other hand, I got this picture of Duchess out of it:

Snow covered Bouvier!

I also had Cinnamon inside for a bit today since she was getting beat on pretty badly. She's just too pretty, that's what it is -

She was so quiet all afternoon, you'd never know she was there. Which makes me think....

How does one go about converting an extra large dog crate into a bantam coop for real? ;-)

Add a couple of perches and a roosting board. Maybe put two together so there's a "run". Works for me! If she's indoors, she's a pet, not poultry.

On Duck Dynasty, someone gave Jase a few BRs and they were running around the yard. Sure enough, the HOA gave him a stern talking-to. He liked the chickens a lot - didn't want to eat them! I guess he likes frogs and squirrels better!

Quote: roosting poles.....small wooden box with 1 door fo egg laying up off the floor on a brick or 2.....and a cover/top for safety/security. Wrap around the bottom sides to keep bedding in and voila! nHouise chickens!LOL
