Smkchick...Hi! I have your incubator all clean and boxed up. We had a successful hatch and I really appreciate you lending us the incy. Would you like me to bring it to Sussex if I can fit it in the car?

We are planning to be there Friday late afternoon. Howevre, we may stop in the ER first thing in the morning to have Lindsey's knee checked and maybe xrayed. She fell tonight on her knees and the right knee has already broken once before. I'm hoping it is just a soft tissue injury.

Sallysec....we are bringing the partridge silkies...some are being shown....the trip to ER may interfere with picture taking...,sorry.

Who am I meeting to get a heat lamp from? I must be losing my cuckoo, since I can't remember...

Tina, if you can fit the incubator in the car that would be great. I will be going to Sussex, even if I have to drive alone! I can't miss my visit with Heather...

I threw my back out Tuesday morning and I've been a mess since. It's progressed to the point of a constant headache, although it's a little better every day. Yesterday I walked a mile on the treadmill just to keep things moving.

I plan to start working as a substitute on Monday and to go back to doing some hours at Sylvan in addition to my tutoring. Translation: 12 hour days at least 6 times a week. Talk about culture shock. I've been out of work for almost a year and now I'll be working my fluffy butt off. The kicker? I'll be making about the same money I made on unemployment.

I hope everyone has a blast at the Sussex. I am running around like a chicken WITH a head, on speed. My littlest mans First Holy Communion is tomorrow night, and his party (can 25 people be considered a party-half my husbands family is busy with BS that day...I should be thanking God but I'm pretty ticked off as well.)

Then for the kicker-my daughter slammed her head on a counter at work on Sunday, and she has a concussion. 2nd one-almost exactly one year since her last one from LAX. We saw the Concussion specialist yesterday and while it's mild, Becca still has to take it easy. Try telling a 16 year old to take it easy during AP exams and coming into Regents time, in 11th grade.

I think she will strangle me if I tell her to get off the computer one more time. (she e-mails her labs to the teacher. Whatever did we do before computers? WRITE with our HANDS and a PEN? How archaic!)

Monday starts my week of insane packing for our annual pilgrimage to East Durham for the Irish Festival. I'm kinda losing my mind with all this craziness, so I started two businesses (direct sales) last week. (Because I need a padded room and medication) I'm completely shot but my house smells really good from the Pink Zebra candles and I always have a bottle of Traveling vineyard wine to perk me up (I actually don't drink much wine but heck-I don't normally keep alcohol in the house, so this is a novelty)

i hope maybe we can all get together soon! I miss my chicken chicks!

HOPEFULLY they will let me set up the jewelry right there.
I can't be running back and forth.
Last year I left for 10 minutes to talk to Doc Brown, and Vera sold one of my Marans show roosters.
He stuffed him into a pillowcase and left.

I didn't make a card up with his bloodlines and all info so he could be dinner.
Ugh. What are friends for?

For concussions, hypericum and arnica work really well. I buy it at the health food store, the brand is Boiron. My son had one concussion so bad, that he was taken to ER by ambulance. I swear the homeopathy really helped. Please call me if you want an idea on how I dose it.

I'm now rushing like a maniac to get out the door for the show. I don't think Lindsey has a break but definitely soft tissue injury...this has skewed everything. I've been through two broken bones with her already and two surgeries in the past. Not feeling up to handling another crisis at the moment.

Suzanne, If I can't get the incubator to fit while in the box, would you mind if I bring it without the box? Please call my cell and let me know....xx845xx546xx2253xx
