Jeanett, that is so cool of you. I have a few that I wanted to use as therapy chickens, but the program doesn't think they would go over so well.
Still trying, although I don't know how I would find the time, anyway.
Suzanne just picked up the baby, and made me fresh, warm double chocolate cookies! YUM!
This is Mikey, the boy I wanted to have in the therapy program. He was supposed to be the ring chicken at my nephew's wedding, but the mother of the bride shut that down...
Of course AFTER I made him the tuxedo!

Jeanett, that is awesome. Very thoughtful and kind. Spreading that chicken love. How could they not be therapeutic?

Bobby and I went out to Roberta's tonight and picked up a little redhead. She's a little smaller than Gladys, which leads me to believe Gladys may be somewhat older than I originally estimated.

My daughter named her Agatha (Aggie to me). When we got home, I took her out of the carrier to see how she'd interact with me. Here's the answer:

She is a total sweetheart. I love that her sounds are completely different that Gladys's.

I am completely in awe of Roberta's set-up for her chickens. And if Fred is ever missing, come check my house. I fell in love with him!

Roberta, I can't thank you enough. I adore her!

"Silkies Gone broody".....Al there should be a book on them. Great birds and actually comical to watch and listen to. they mumble sweetly all day . Some to the point I called one "whiner".
