UH OH! buffs are my fav and I am down 3. when are they coming in again? It would be perfect if one of my hens went broody. I hate having to wait to introduce them. Hmmmmmm… they are sexed right? how much would it be?

Ah, chicken fever. I can see it as sure as spring is in the way. It has to be the time of year because I've been trolling the chicken sites and reading my chicken catalogs, magazines and books again. ;)

Right now I'm trying to figure out if nutrition may have anything to do with the feather picking. I went against my better nature and switched their food to Purina Layena with Omega 3 in an effort to see if the organic food has deficiencies. I wanted to wait a week or so before saying anything. Today, with the new roost up for 2 nights and the feed changed for almost a week, I noticed less picking. Also, the poop smells better. Go figure?

Wow, I thought it was all figured out with the organic food, Al.
But somehow, I have always wanted some form of meat protein in there.
I don't think yours had it....probably why I never switched.
Along with the shipping thing.

Hi everyone! Looking for some feedback from you chicken lovers! I am opening a tee shirt shop which will focus on selling chicken related tee shirts. I have more ideas kicking around but got started with these first. What do you all think of these. Vote for your favorite!

They sex them and vaccinate for Marek's. Right now I have 5 in the cart for April delivery. With everything, it works out to $14 a chick, but will be less if there are 6-15 chicks in the order. So if you were to order 3 Buffs with vaccination, it would actually be $9.75 per chick. Shipping charges are $40, so I divided that by the number of chicks.

I like 1 and 3. I have a friend who does embroidery and printing. Do you have a supplier, or are you doing your own?
