I feel so bad for my chickens right now. My husband (who likes the chickens) is working on their coop, finishing up little things that weren't imperative, then he's making the nesting boxes. He's on a ladder just outside the coop and the girls are FREAKING out. every fat one of them has squeezed herself behind the henhouse and occasionally peeks out to see if "the boogey man" is still there and going to hurt them.
I went out to see how it was going, and they ran to me like an oasis in the desert, and clucked at me as if to say "save yourself! It's the BOOGEY MAN!!"
