I thought she might be a Sebright too, although not a "perfect" one. She was doing fine today and I let her at T mix with the big girls but then Ruthie got bored and started chasing her a little too assertively so I brought Nutmeg inside. I gave her a nice bath and dried her off with the hair dryer on low and she basically napped through it all. I feel like I have my little Perry Katie back, a little lap chick to love! She's spending tonight in the travel crate inside. Something tells me she will be spoiled rotten. Now I just have to train the puppy to allow her to ride on her and I'll have a 1,000,000 hit YouTube video for sure.

My Sebright liked coming into the house. She didn't know she was a chicken. I adopted/rescued her and she was really hand tamed and friendly.

I just love batiks also. I really need to finish a couple more of my projects . I send my large quilts away to be long armed.

Good for you! That is 1/2 the battle. I get real steals on ebay. I just got in almost 5 yards of 4 different pinks for under $15 or so. Here at Joannes I pay $12.99 per. yd........nuts to that. mail order works for me!

We need to get rid of the foxes, stay hydrated and get quilting. And when is Caeb going to reappear???

The James Taylor concert was fabulous! The innkeeper gave us a parking pass so we parked really close. Saved us a ton of walking. And we decided to stay over in Albany Wednesday night because my brother in law is playing on a fireworks cruise on Lake George. My sister has a friend who is a manager at our favorite hotel. She got us a $189 a night room for $79.

Life is good.

Wow!  Quilts, chicks, ER.  I missed a lot today.

I sat on the front porch of the Inn and wrote the wedding ceremony for my cousin's wedding on Friday. Waiting for Bobby to wake up so we can have breakfast. Then off to antique shops and museums.
This unemployment thing rocks.

Wow, I don't come on for a day and I missed all the excitement.
I went to the Dr. also, Nurse says shingles, Dr says poison ivy.
But nothing like he's seen.... "contact dermatitis"
He also gave me a fungicide

Just found out that hubby has been mowing strange places around the driveway.
And dumping the clippings in the run so the chickens can eat the grass

ok I accidently clicked the button next to the smiley face, and now I can't get rid of these lines

So now do I have to bathe 81 chickens? That's how many I counted last time I dipped them for mites.

Forgot about the broken shoulder? He can't even bathe himself without help.

Besides, I haven't gotten the bike out of the shed to get it started.
He made sure to pack a bunch of SHIrT all around it so I wouldn't get hurt.
