Southern28Chick's soap!

I would think with them being in such demand it wouldn't be worth selling "aged bars". That is longer than you already age them. Trisha, do you have a separate building you have to do this in or just do it in your house? Just curious, never seen soap made before.

Trish you are going to be one busy lady! Another chicken friend here placed an order.

I just ordered 4 bars

2 for me and 2 for my sister. My sis has birthday in September and if she loves it, like I know she will, then I will be ordering more for Christmas. With all the wonderful things people are saying I can't wait to get it. Winter is coming soon and my skin gets SO dry.

I have a "soap shed" in my back yard that I make the soap in. After the soap is cut it moves to my office in my house to cure and then packaged and waits til someone buys it, or DH comes and gets it. DH loves my soap and my soap is the ONLY kind of soap we use. I have very sensitive skin so I can't use store bought "soap" aka detergent bars.

When we buy more land in a couple of years I want to build a larger building that's about 30'x30' to make the soap in. I don't make the soap in the house because lye water vapors are very dangerous and I store up to 50 pounds of lye and I don't want that in my house. I'd rather my shed blow up and not my house.

I'll ship everything Monday.

I got mine yesterday too! I used the apple jack and orange peel to wash up after helping my husband work on a car, and then showered with the chocolate. Both are awesome. I gave my daughter a chocolate too, and she also loved it. She has very dry skin and is prone to eczema, so I'm thrilled to find this soap.
Thanks, Trisha!

Oh yeah, I also ordered a Hen House sign for my hen house

from Trisha's ebay store. It looks really nice out there.

I was wondering how you'd like the hen house sign. Can you post a picture of it on your hen house? I'd like to see it.

Thanks for the order!

Do you mean just cucumber or like a cucumber melon or some other mix? I'm trying to come up with more soaps so I do welcome all suggestions.

The one I use now, everyday, is cucumber melon & green tea, made by Dove...I like that it has a very "clean" smell. I find that sometimes with perfume, soap, shampoo, shaving cream and all that, all the fragrances clash and you just stink, ya know. So I try to limit myself to one! I try, I really do try...

I can't wait to try the chocolate and the cinnamon, they just sound like fall and the Holidays to me...

I have dry sensitive skin and could never find the right soap, even Dove dries me out and leaves me itchy. You'll be hearing from me Trisha!

10 minutes later. . .

OK, Ive ordered 2 bars, the lavandar and goats milk and the oatmeal. You are a marketing genius, using your chicken buddies to sell your soap. You should be on The Apprentice!
