I already figured that she didnt have as much feathering on her face as she should. None of my milles have that much face fluff. I have seen the porcelain on the D'uccle thread thats posted first and new that she didnt have as much as she needs. thanks for looking.

He is too darn cute as a baby, of course all chicks are. I took him outside yesturday and held him up to the cages and all my roosters but one(the silkie) went struting crazy. It was so funny.

Thanks for sharing his baby pics with me. I'll keep you updated on him.

Nancy,
I don't think I will be showing. I will just be going to do some buying!! LOL!!
Do they test the birds at the show or do you have to have it done before you
go?

I'll have a pair of Seramas for sale at the shows, probably Greenville since it's closer. I'm also still trying to market my two mille Cochin boys, as I have no compatible hans. I'll post the Seramas on the BST thread as soon as I get pictures, and I can either ship or bring them to an upcoming show. Roo is a black tailed buff of Christmas hatch, and the pullet is kinda buff columbian, but much more beige. I believe she might be laying, but she free ranges the yard and garage, so who know's where her nest is!?! I'm going to pen her up starting today just to find out if she's hiding anything. I was working on a new pen (in my head) because I just got a new pair of Silkies, but then I realized that since they don't fly, I don't need a full- height stall for them. I put one side of a baby crib between their current pen and the wall, and voila! A Silkie pen that frees up the other one for Seramas! Yay! Anyway, here's the mille for sale/trade. He and his brother are fairly twins, so I don't care which I keep, if either.

The Serama in the photo is Stella, aka Drumstick. I might bring her to the shows for a conversation starter and handicap chicken ambassador! If you haven't seen her thread in the emergency section here, she lost her toes to frostbite.

You have to get it done before the show. If you want the NPIP thing it only cost $30. If you want your birds tested for AI and Pullorum it's free. The folks are really nice and will work you in very quickly. If you go to this web site http://www.aphis.usda.gov/animal_health/animal_dis_spec/poultry/ you can find the information you need about NPIP and or the testing.
If I go to Greenville, I'll be showing, so I'll be staying up there. I'd better figure on driving myself, since I'll be hauling birds and all their stuff, and that takes up the whole car.
Of course it just came to mind, I'm going to be swimming in baby chicks by that time and I may not feel like leaving them.

I'll have to play this one by ear.

Thanks Nancy, I am going to look into that. I no that Gary just had it done so next time I see him I am
going to ask him for the number. I used to have a card with the info. maybe I can find it??? lol!
New babies!! That is always a hand full! But they are oh soooo sweet!

Liz, so that poor little thing did loose her toes? I was wondering about her just the other day.

Well i found someone that i might be able to get 2 serama pullets from. I posted what i wanted on a yahoo group for seramas and got an email from someone. Hopefully i can get them.

I dont know, for some reason i seem to play with him more and get along with him better than the chicks we hatched out our selves. There is just something about him that is diff than my other chickens.
