Hey everybody!! What a great idea to start a thread for our area specifically! Thank you Jessica!

My name is Kelly, I am married to my best friend, we have 3 teen boys who are 15, 13 and 13. We got chickens last April after finding a coop on CL for FREE!!! I have pictures on my page of its transformation. We LOVE having chickens and co coop with our neighbor. They purchase feed and I supply the care and labor. We live in a neighborhood and I have always wanted to move somewhere where we had some acreage, but I do not see that happening anytime soon. So, my new motto is "live life now, not later" I am doing what I can NOW. Just sent in a permit for Nigerian dwarf goats. Cannot wait to see if it is approved so we can get some goats. If you know of anyone with Nigerian Dwarf doelings please let me know.

we purchased our retirement home in Fort Pierce - 2 acres with a CBS house, pond, large oak trees.
will be retiring in the next 6 months and moving there from WPB.

We visit our Fort Pierce home most every weekend. We have already started to pick up the material needed for our coop.
