Space Coast Chicks?

Morning all, I have a pair of ducks arriving tomorrow! A white call and a mandarin. Sons class is hatching some Rouen I bought them, 5 out of 12 are growing nicely so far.

Looking forward to expanding our fenced area and creating a true aviary. Oh and adding a guard donkey here too hopefully yet this year lol.

How difficult is it to raise ducks?? Do you raise them for meat or just eggs?
are they noisy? messy?

Lots of baby chicks, ducks and geese for sale on CL today. Also a real cute Praire Dog. Ya'll need to check them out, good pictures. Unfortunately I am maxed out, no room at my inn.
