Sparrow Ministries - 01-06-2012 Cleaning room done!

Update:

The new laying flock of ISA Brown pullets are about 18 weeks old and we have about 12 of them laying so far. I actually was suprised to get the first egg around 16 weeks. Praise the Lord! I have my hands full now since I am no where near ready to move them into the new building but will have to find time to clean and process eggs also. The plan was to be done with the building before they began to lay.... oh well.

Update:

These ISA browns are really earning there keep these day... they are about 20 weeks old and we just gather 30 eggs for yesterday. God is blessing and I will soon be able to make another delivery. Praise the Lord for His mercy and kindness toward us. God Bless

I am so glad to see this ministry is continuing! Never let naysayers bring you down. A planted seed will grow, without you even being present to see it. Doesn't mean it didn't grow. I am proof of that!

God bless you, and may your ministry continue to grow and tell the story of grace!

How many hens do you have, and will you let them free range when the new coops done?

Of the Oldest group I have 44 ISA Brown and 3 WL. Then I have a younger flock that is about 14-15 weeks that include 10 RIR pullets 9 Marans, a few Easter eggers a pair of Wellsumers and a couple barred rock pullets.

I can't free range because of neighborhood dogs but they will have a nice size run
