. Not many folks nowadays do but a lot of the old folks here grew up on it and still eat weird stuff. I prefer more wild plants like swamp cabbage, berries etc.. rather then eating weird wild critters

I’ve got one in my pond. A massive thing I usually only see in the summer. Big guy nearly got my ankle once… there’s a reason my ducks don’t swim in that one lol.

I find box turtles more than anything else and I even have a few empty shells found on hikes, chest plate and all.I catch them all the time but not on purpose I catch more turtles then fish
