I have a duck"ling" that has MANY special needs, she was born paralyzed in both her legs (she can walk now, not well, but she gets where she needs to go), her tongue is severely deformed, it's just a ball in the back of her mouth, she is pretty small for her age, and her feathers are not growing in. She is 7 weeks old. That's just what I know about. There could be more that I just can't see... Well anyways, she was doing just fine this morning, she was happy, making lots of noise, and just as active as ever. But then I went out there this afternoon at about 1 o'Clock, and she seemed sad, she was barely making any noise, and didn't want to move around much. I thought she was being bullied and put the suspected bully in the coop thinking I had solved the problem for now, and decided to bring her to live inside with our other special needs bird as soon as her sister had bonded with the rest of the ducks. I went back out just after 5 o'Clock expecting her to be back to normal and boy was I wrong. She was wedged under a small thorn bush, EXTREMELY lethargic... She isn't moving, eating, or drinking... I don't know what to do...
What's wrong with her? is she sick? Injured? Developing wrong? What can I do to help her?
