Speckled eggs? Did these come from the same hen?

Thanks everyone, I suspect they are from different hens too as the main color is so different, I should be able to figure it out after a few days I hope!

My Australorp will occasionally lay a speckled egg. Most of the time they are a light brown though. I always say she is just showing off.

Isn't the brown a coating that goes on the end? I think I read a thread saying that there are two kinds of eggs: blue and white. Brown is a final addition which is why when you cross a blue and a brown egg layer you get an olive egger, a blue egg with a brown coating over it? I could be completely off base here...
If the brown is a final coating, maybe you get occasional splatters of higher pigmentation, kind of like a spray painter, lol!

I don't think it's the Australorp as I go another egg from her today - I think, but I could be wrong.
The kids are having fun playing detective and trying to figure them all out!
