Speckled Sussex chicks

One of my chicks has a reddish brown, while the other has dark brown. Will they be different shades as adults?

Definitely no two birds look exactly the same.

Wish I could trust my yorkie around my chickens, he wants to eat them SO BAD. Especially if I'm holding one and it starts yelling or trying to escape.

Oh......I trained Lucy to wrangle Chickens so she never bites Birds but gets them back to the Coop. She punches or boxes them with her front feet..
