I have two speckled Sussex chicks. One is significantly lighter than the other. Does anyone know if this determines their coloring as they get older? Or indicate sex? They’re only like 2 1/2- 3 weeks old. I’m just curious if anyone is familiar with this breed and knows anything about coloring. Thank you.

Is it me or does the one in the first pic look like a mille fleur d'uccle or something similar? It has such a uniform pattern with the bars of color.
