Well, it shouldn’t. I suppose hatchery sussex could have the recesssive gene for yellow legs, but it’s strange that all the examples of sienna stars have them.I guess hatchery leghorn x hatchery SS has other genes in there . . .
Back to your hen, I looked at the privett website, and the only thing I can think of is that she’s a naked neck that didn’t get the naked neck gene. However, I’m thinking that isn’t likely.
