Speckled Sussex or Something Else?

I have a question about my girl Bretta! I bought her at tractor supply during the summer and she was sold to me as a speckled Sussex. This would be my first ever time having one but from what I have seen Speckled Sussex chicks don’t really look like this. She has a lot of black around her face her legs are greenish and so are her eyes. She did have a sister but unfortunately passed away and her sister looked nothing like this she was brighter and had more of those speckled spots. Does anyone know what breed she is?

Ah I knew it! This girl was too different from the normal speckled Sussex. I remember too when we were buying her right next to the tubs where they keep the chicks thwre was a tub with eastereggers pretty sure this sweet girl got mixed in

Every Easter Egger is different since they're mixed. It's part of the fun. You'll just have to wait and see! Hopefully a pretty blue or green. I'm still waiting for my 3 EEs to lay.

Do you happen to know what colored eggs she’ll have? I heard some folks get brown or blue eggs.

She could lay white, cream, tan, blue or green. EE are just a mixed breed and there is no guarantee the egg color
