I guess tomorrow morning is fence fixing time. I will move the hose hanger from the corner of the garden. They are getting up on that before getting on top of the fence, not using the steps at all. I will fix two breaks in the electric wire around the bottom. My digging dog quit digging to get out, so I have let it fall into disrepair. Then I will put some floppy chicken wire on top, angled toward the chicken yard.
They already have a covered run, but I let them out in the chicken yard every day, and when the garden is done, they can go in there. I gave up on the garden early this year, being unable to work in there much due to a broken finger which happened in June.
Now the puppy is trying to dig under into the garden where the chickens are. When I get that hot wire reconnected, he will get a shocking surprise.
Yechh. I hope it's cooler tomorrow. I have chased one or two speckles back half a dozen times today. This cannot go on.
