I really do think you could have found a better, less painful way to get out of the fencing project.

I really am so very sorry this happened and I hope you won't have to have surgery, but I am thankful that you have a dh to take care of you and your flocks. Take it easy, even though it must be veeery hard to sit still, I know you are a very active person. We'll all be here waiting for your return.
