That's a very cool coop! I'm amazed at some of the pallet coops, well all of the ones I've seen actually.
We built a frame and slid whole pallets onto it. The thing is so secure. We could all stand on top of it and it wouldn't even move.

The chickens absolutely love it. They only go in it to lay eggs or sleep. The rest of the time they're playing in their large run. Usually they ay keep away from each other when they find some good bug 😂

This is the last packing crate coop I built from a crate the same size.

That is so clever! So the slats provide ventilation? Is it predator proof?

It's all insulated on the inside. The ventilation is at the top where you see the metal with the holes in it.

It's predator proofed to us. We haven't had any issues so far, but squatch would kill anything that harmed his girls. Even if that includes my husband's hand 😂 he got him one night and my husband was like good luck to any predator that tries to mess with him.

There is metal sheets inside too halfway up the walls to protect the insulation sheets from our ducks who eat everything and anything.

Sounds like a great set up to me. So the ducks live with the chickens? I have a neighbor who has her ducks in with her chickens, too.
