A bit dissolved, huh? I'd rather the rain than snow right now. My muscovies are now just ice statues in my yardThat's all we have had for several days! I'm soggy as a piece of toast dropped in coffee and forgotten!!!Or should I say a crumpet found at the bottom of the tea cup after the tea was spilled.

And I'll take the snow! My chickens are not deterred by a bit of white stuff, and I put straw down for their pleasure. I did that in the rain today and tomorrow, you'd never know I did. Ugh. I love the rain, because it makes my home beautiful, but I just want my chickens to be happy. Soon!A bit dissolved, huh? I'd rather the rain than snow right now. Oh, but they would leave a lot of something behind.
An eel we saw at the aquarium store the other day. It kept showing me it's teeth

We call that fertilizer. If I had enough chickens, then they could mow my back yard! I wouldn't need to. (In summer, of course.)Oh, but they would leave a lot of something behind.

I just added the wood shavings from our coop to the top of my garden boxes. I'll put fresh soil on top and it'll do its thing until springWe call that fertilizer.
then I'll plant and hopefully be more successful
