I too have been thinking on those hoses myself. I slipped on some ice today and fell. Now my back is really out, can hardly walk and dad had to do chores tonite. Good thing dad is gonna get DH home for the weekend so I can rest. I was carring a full water bucket (trying to make chores go faster) when it happend. BOY WHAT A DUMB S**T. Thank goodness for cell phones.

I am sorry you fell doing waters. I do believe those hoses would be the answer so we do not fall on the crappy ice!

My back is just too weak anymore so I have to have my husband carry five gallon buckets. He is not a happy camper let me tell you.

J Spirit looks wonderful and yes, it looks like he has gained some weight. YEA! Go Spirit!!!!!!! Such a trooper and looking stronger.

My DH usually does help but he has been out of town for the last month. He will also be out of town for another 6-8 weeks again. He is very good about helping me out. Now with him gone it is left up to me. I spend more time at the barn, making meals then in bed recooperating for the next day. If I knew he was gonna be gone so much I wouldn't have expanded so much. Ohwell such as life. I have been told that my body is very old but my mind is still so young. I am 40 yrs old and have a bogy of a 70 yr old. I do make the best of every day cause it sure could be much worse!!!!!

Thought I'd share a new pic of Spirit. He feels like he has gained a half-pound in the past week and it looks like he is starting to fill out again, too.

He looks so pretty!! ... er, handsome!! How old is he now?

Thanks J, Things here have turned into a snail race. My lab now helps me up the stairs, he is loving and attentive to his mommy( he will pick up anything I drop for me too). Ohwell life goes on and its never fun to go to a pitty party. So on that note how is everyone elso this fine winter day? We are above 15F this morning and could get up too 33F. Wow, were having a tropical heat wave. No dought if I went into town many people would be wearing shorts today.

in this weather! I wear long underware to dialysis because I get cold in there.... I have a blanket as well and I keep my coat on the chair with me to even keep warmer.... Craziness of shorts in this weather.

I know what you mean RURU!! I have several friends that wear them no matter what the weather is or the temp. Two of them even walk or ride their bikes all winter long in shorts. Hell I freeze just looking at them when its 60 F outside.
