Agree with the others. But this one does have a feminine face. If I were to guess, I'd say female. Very clear and close up pictures of the face will also help.

BTW - I'll be playing the "guess my gender" game soon. @homeschoolin momma gave DS some Spitz eggs for his 4H project. Eggs are in lockdown now!

I too incubating.. but, CLEARLY too early in the year... out of 5 eggs, only 2 fertile.

I wanted to join the Easter hatch along.

I have another batch of eggs to put in the incubator as soon as these pop out...

2 Spitzhaubens hatched early. (Also 2 seramas but they always hatch early.)




@homeschoolin momma 's Spitzhaubens are very fertile. Once again I set 8 and all 8 made it to lockdown. Another 100%! Never got a clear Spitz egg. Occasionally one may quit - but never infertile.

DS feels the same way. He already picked out 3 that are HIS. He's been holding them throughout the day - hoping they imprint.

All those broody hens - and not one ready for chicks!!!!
