The first photo absolutely needs to be entered in the "Caption of the Week" contest! While you're at it, the mirror one needs to go in, too. I'd send them in different weeks, though, 'cause they're BOTH winners!I found this pic amusing. It looks like DS is having a conversation with a Spitzhauben.(This was taken during the heat wave while at county fair)

Oh my she's nice looking. Mine are to black. I have a nice Chamois tho.I was trying to find this thread! I had taken some photos of my gold hen. Her crest looks sad due to some picking and flock order stuff since she was introduced to our big flock but I am hoping for a pretty regrowth this winter!
I also attached a photo of some of her hackle feathers that have the pretty little hearts on them.
Disregard the cornish bantams in the background of these photosThey were getting supervised playpen time.
I was honestly hoping that the one gold we had gotten (poor hatch or I would have gotten 3) would have been a roo so I could breed him to my chamois (closer to lacing than spangles) but I am still glad that I have my little Pinecone in the first placeOh my she's nice looking. My gold rooster is decent looking.I was honestly hoping that the one gold we had gotten (poor hatch or I would have gotten 3) would have been a roo so I could breed him to my chamois (closer to lacing than spangles) but I am still glad that I have my little Pinecone in the first place!
