Remember, we are being told by the expert, that these are Hatchery Delawares! And there is no way YOU can make em here in the States without some UK "English" blood to do it!

I never said that? I said that Delaware orpingtons don’t come from hatcheries. The Delaware orpingtons you’ve posted have all come from breeders.

I’m not saying the pictures you’ve posted aren’t orpingtons. All I’m saying is that the chicken in the first post, which this thread is about, is just a Delaware since she came from tractor supply. The hatcheries that tractor supply gets chicks from do not carry rare delaware orpingtons.

Any hatchery in the US with poor Delawares can send a bird that fits that.
