splash silkie chick color question?

I have my first silkie chicks hatched from my broody silkie mama.

Both parents are splash but my 2 week old chicks look they are white maybe even a light grey. Will the splash coloring come later or is there a chance they won't be splash colored at all???

They will for certain be splash.

It will most likely be more washed out than the parents.

Try to get some black or blue involved in the matings to maintain better coloration.

yep splashXsplash gives you 100% splash they will show up later on

Good! I'm glad they will be splash as they favorite color. So, if they may be lighter would that make paint splash? Anyone know when the splash coloring will appear?
