Splayed Leg

Okay My chick that a friend gave me has splayed leg. I put a band aid on like little hoggles like yo uare supposed to. When should I take it off?? My chick is walking with it and she stands just fine. It has been on for about 4-5 hours. I kinda took her feet and moved them ahead one after the other like she was walking. Please help as My little chickee hated that thing on.

Leave the bandaid on until it falls off (the adhesive gives out around the same time as the treatment is finished.).
