Splinting issues with duckling?

unfortunately not, no vets around me have any experience with ducks so they’d be as clueless as I am with her

How is the duckling today?

Here is a picture of Daisy with her hobble:

She was almost behaving the same as your duckling.
This is how i made the hobble out of two zip-ties, a piece of gift wrap-band and a little duct-tape:
